Kalliopi is a self-taught, multi-disciplinary artist and maker based in Worcester. Originally a jewellery maker for many years, since 2024 she has been exploring and creating mixed media abstract work with a constantly evolving style.

She works with a variety of papers and surfaces and exploring mark making using acrylic paints, watercolours, markers, pencil and ink.

Inspiration comes from exploring found objects, botanical shapes and seed pods with their intricate detail. Her process involves layering of papers and colours which results in a playful and colourful style. Kalliopi’s paintings invite the viewer to share and experience her creative journey.

Kalliopi works instinctively, creating points of view which are inspired by the natural world and everyday life experiences. The enjoyment of exploring with colour, texture and shape is evident in her work.

Kalliopi was a finalist in Broadway Arts festival in 2025 and her work can be purchased in local galleries and exhibitions.
